Jingwen(Pino) Cao
Pino Cao (Rep’d by Illo Agency) is a Mississauga based artist focusing on picture books and chapter books.
For as long as she can remember, Pino has had a fascination with art and design. Having grown up in an engineering family, she followed her family path and became a civil engineer. However, her passion for art never faded away and art is what she decided as her lifelong career. Pino enjoys traditional as well as digital media. She loves storytelling using various color palettes as well as character interactions to express feelings, emotions and different moods in her compositions. Besides art, animals and plants are also her best friends. She loves nature and that’s where most of her inspiration comes from.
In 2020, Pino was invited to hold her first personal artwork exhibition in North York Central Library . Recently, her artwork was also win the first price of the CICan 2021 student showcase - drawing category.
