Light Pole Banner - City of Mississauga
This year, I will cooperate with City of Mississauga to design the light banners around the city center and the main roads of Mississauga.
The inspiration for creating the banner came from the composition of the word “Mississauga”. The word is composed of six letters which could be interpreted as “Modern”, “International”, “Safe”, “Artistic”, “United” and “Graceful”. As a resident of Mississauga, I feel that these six words well describe my feelings about the city. I am always amazed by the “Modern” skyline, “International” airport and work opportunities, “Safe” communities, “Artistic” events, “United” people, and “Graceful” natural environment of Mississauga. It is a beautiful place with amazing and talented people. Although we may come from different cultural backgrounds, this is the city where we will share the same future.
The banners are installed at the in the downtown core (City hall, Living Art Center and Square One Shopping Mall) as well as the main roads (Burnhamthorpe Rd W and Thomas St).
